CoolSculpting,
permanently.
Controlled cooling that freezes and destroys fat cells for good, no incisions, no anesthetic, and virtually no downtime. FDA-cleared for nine areas of the body.
Some fat doesn't answer to diet or exercise.
CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive body contouring treatment administered by a trained specialist. It uses controlled cooling to freeze and destroy fat cells, which your body then clears through its own natural processes, a permanent reduction, not a temporary loss of water weight.
Genetics play a real role in where the body stores fat, particularly across the abdomen, flanks, upper arms and thighs. For patients who are already close to their goal but stuck with defined pockets that won't move, CoolSculpting is a low-risk alternative to liposuction with little to no downtime.
Real cycles, real contour change.

Six weeks after a single CoolSculpting session. The abdomen is often the last place the body sheds fat, and the first place it returns.

Thirteen weeks after a second CoolSculpting session. Flank fat resists crunches and strength work, which makes it a strong candidate for cryolipolysis.

Many of us have stubborn fat despite diet and exercise.
CoolSculpting technology uses controlled cooling to target and kill only these fat cells.
In the weeks to follow, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates dead cells.
CoolSculpting results are long term,* because treated fat cells are gone.
Cold enough to end a fat cell.
The machine delivers precisely controlled cooling through an applicator placed over the bulge. Fat cells beneath the skin crystallize and die, a process called cryolipolysis, while the surrounding skin, nerves and muscle are left intact.
Over the following weeks your body metabolizes and eliminates those cells. Because they are gone rather than shrunken, the reduction is permanent. Staying hydrated, exercising, and adding weekly lymphatic drainage massage for about three weeks all help the process along.
Consult
A free consult maps your treatment areas and sets an honest expectation of how many cycles it will take.
Apply
The applicator is positioned over the bulge; you'll feel intense cold for the first several minutes, then numbness.
Massage
The applicator comes off and the specialist massages the area to break up the frozen tissue and improve results.
Clear
Over the following weeks your body metabolizes and permanently eliminates the destroyed fat cells.
Nine areas, FDA-cleared.
CoolSculpting is cleared to treat visible fat bulges across nine regions of the body, the abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, upper arms, submental and submandibular areas, back, bra line and banana roll.
Abdomen
The classic treatment area, and often the last place the body lets go of fat. Many patients see change within three weeks of the first session.
Flanks
Estrogen encourages fat storage across the hips and waist, and no amount of targeted exercise reliably reaches it. CoolSculpting can.
Inner & outer thighs
Hormones such as estradiol drive fat storage around the thighs and hips, leaving deposits that stay put despite regular activity.
Upper arms
Age, sex and genetics all set arm proportions. Cryolipolysis reduces the upper-arm bulge that diet and strength training leave behind.
Submental area
Under the chin and jawline, CoolSculpting can reduce fat by up to 25% and may improve tissue laxity, visibly sharpening the profile.
Back, bra line & banana roll
Back and bra fat tend to be genetic, and the banana roll beneath the buttock is notoriously resistant to diet and exercise alike.

Setting up for the best result
- Come to your free consult ready to discuss target areas and realistic timelines.
- CoolSculpting is body contouring, not weight loss, it works best on defined, pinchable bulges.
- Tell your provider about any history of cold-related conditions or hernias near the treatment site.
- Plan for more than one session; most areas need multiple cycles for full effect.
What the session feels like
- The applicator delivers controlled cooling that crystallizes fat cells beneath the skin.
- Expect mild tugging, aching or stinging, most patients read, work or nap through it.
- Afterward the specialist massages the treated tissue, which some find briefly uncomfortable.
- There are no incisions, no needles and no anesthetic involved.
Helping your body clear the fat
- Drink plenty of water and keep exercising, both help your body process the dead cells.
- Weekly lymphatic drainage massage for about three weeks can improve clearance.
- Redness, swelling, tenderness or temporary numbness are common and usually settle in days.
- First changes appear around three weeks; full results build over one to three months.
Most patients experience few if any complications. Side effects such as temporary redness, swelling, bruising or altered sensation usually resolve on their own; rarer risks including paradoxical adipose hyperplasia will be reviewed with you before you decide.
