Lip fillers, by a
dermatologist.
Hyaluronic acid filler for fuller, better-defined lips, injected only by our board-certified physicians, never delegated. Same-day results, reversible if you change your mind.
Fullness that still looks like you.
Lip fillers are injectable gels made of hyaluronic acid, a sugar molecule your body already produces to hold water in the skin. Placed with care, they add volume through the body of the lip, sharpen the vermilion border, correct asymmetry and soften the fine vertical lines that form above the mouth with age.
Results are visible immediately and typically last six to twelve months before the body gradually metabolizes the product. Because hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible, an unwanted result can be dissolved in office with hyaluronidase, a safeguard that not every injectable offers.

Individual results vary. Photograph shown with patient consent and is not retouched. The amount of product, placement and outcome are unique to each patient's anatomy.

Who holds the syringe matters.
At Pariser, every injectable is administered by a board-certified dermatologist. The lips sit over a dense network of vessels, and the difference between a beautiful result and a serious complication is anatomical knowledge, where the product goes, how much, and when to stop.
That also means honest counsel. If your goals aren't achievable with filler, or if the better answer is less product rather than more, you'll hear it. And should you ever want the filler gone, the same physician can dissolve it.
Consult
A board-certified dermatologist reviews your anatomy, your goals and your medical history before anything is injected.
Numb
A topical anesthetic is applied, and the filler itself contains lidocaine to keep the injection comfortable.
Inject
Small amounts of hyaluronic acid are placed precisely, for volume, border definition, or both.
Shape
The lips are gently massaged and assessed in the mirror with you before you leave.
Six reasons patients come in.
Volume
Lips thin naturally with age as collagen and hyaluronic acid decline. Filler restores fullness that reads as rested rather than done.
Definition
Filler placed along the vermilion border sharpens the outline of the lip and can lift a flattened cupid's bow.
Symmetry
Uneven lips are extremely common. Small, asymmetric placements can bring the upper and lower lip back into balance.
Perioral lines
Fine vertical lines above the lip soften when the surrounding support is rebuilt with hyaluronic acid.
Reversibility
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, an option we can perform in office if you change your mind.
Proportion
Not every patient needs more lip. Sometimes the right answer is a smaller amount, or none at all, we'll tell you.

Thirty minutes, then two weeks to settle.
Preparing for your appointment
- Bring photos if there's a look you like, and be open to what suits your anatomy.
- Avoid blood thinners, fish oil, and alcohol for a few days if your physician approves, to limit bruising.
- Tell us about any history of cold sores; an antiviral may be prescribed in advance.
- Plan the timing: allow about two weeks before a wedding, event or photo shoot.
What the treatment feels like
- Topical numbing plus lidocaine in the filler makes the injections very tolerable.
- Most appointments take about thirty minutes from start to finish.
- Product is placed incrementally so shape can be assessed as we go.
- You'll see the result the same day, before any swelling has settled.
Swelling, settling and upkeep
- Swelling and tenderness are normal for the first 24–48 hours; ice helps.
- Bruising, if it happens, generally resolves within a week.
- Final shape settles at about two weeks, once swelling fully subsides.
- Most results last six to twelve months before a touch-up is considered.
